When good-natured mountain dweller Bobo meets a mysterious "aminal" one day, he is disturbed by the creature's naughty habit of eating good children's dolls. He sets about to create a compassionate solution by combining all of the lovely foods he makes for the creatures of the countryside: seed puddings for the little birds, cabbage salads for the rabbits, nut cakes for the squirrels, and little cheeses for the mice. Then he rolls them into little balls and presents these "jum-jils" to the creature, hoping they will satisfy its cravings –– will they work as intended?
