Rabina is 19 years old and lives with her mother and sister Sapana, who also embroiders our products. She is currently in college studying management and has two years left before her program is completed. She enjoys painting and listening to pop music. Her father passed away when she was 10 years old, only two weeks after he became ill. Her mother has never remarried, but has established a small shop selling snacks and she also raises goats. Rabina wants to help her mother with the money she earns from embroidering. Their home was also badly damaged in the 2015 earthquake in Nepal and they now live together in a temporary tin shelter. She dreams of becoming a business woman and living in another country – perhaps Australia!
