Cozily rustic but still soft, this pure Merino wool sweater is ready to work hard on all of your cold-weather outings. Hand-knitted by talented women in Nepal, each sweater is painstakingly hand-embroidered with Peruvian Highland wool depicting ferns and fiddleheads reaching up from the forest floor. Finished with wooden buttons made from Nepal's Allo plant – a giant nettle that grows wild in the high mountain regions – and a soft vegetable-tanned leather tag stamped with our logo.
Not only is this product beautifully made from nature's finest materials, but its production provides an above-average wage for the women who make it – stitch by slow stitch. In addition, 5% of sales are directly reinvested into the communities they come from.
